The new centre in Northampton was completed and opened in September 2020. The sports facility cost around £30 million to build and a year to complete. Spectile were very privileged to work alongside, architects, Saunders Boston on this fabulous project, creating a new and exciting centre for pupils to use alongside the local community who will have access to the centre through a membership programme.
The new facility includes a 50m pool with boom and moveable floor, fitness studios and a ‘costa’ style café. The facility also fulfils its green credentials by using natural ventilation and a thermal hot water system. Overall a stunning and great project to be a part of.
